Standard Gauge American Flyer 4684 Electric Loco Green Prewar X9428

New Haven style enameled metal electric loco, was made 1928 to 31, is original green with black frame, has brass trim including pilot spoke detail. It is missing cast headlights and has new drive wheels, otherwise looks original/complete. It has corrosion on roof edge one side and on journals, otherwise just light dirt mainly roof, light wear, corrosion on couplers.

Loco has a remote and manual reverse. It ran both directions at first, then 1 way only, believed to be a wiring issue, not running right.

Original wiring has insulation loss and should be rewired if expected to operate. Good potential here with minimal work. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
