Roco 43487 HO gauge SNCF BB 20011 Electric Locomotive in white & blue livery

This really nice and rare HO gauge loco by Roco is 043487 a French BB 20011 Loco in white and blue with orange stripe livery. It has running number BB 20011 (the number boards are not attached and are still in the sealed detailing packs). The SNCF BB 20011 and SNCF BB 20012 locomotives were a pair of electric locomotives used for testing, built by Alsthom between 1985 and 1986.

The two locomotives were the synchronous dual-voltage prototypes for Class BB 26000. In 1994 the locomotives were re-used for work on the Channel Tunnel, then converted to standard class BB 22200s in 1995. This example is in very good condition (see pictures). There is a small defect by one of the door handles.

I have not tested it but see no reason why it would not run. The box is bit shelf worn see pictures. This locomotive is really just very nice and high quality. This loco would look great on a layout.
