This is a beautiful massive set. Both the engine and passenger cars are new, never ran or displayed. This is the traditional version and I didn't test the engine or take it out of the metal cage.

I did unwrap the eagle (I wanted to see it) and placed it on the front, as-pictured. Again, this set does have the instructions and all original factory packaging.

The boxes do show some wear and aging and two are taped together. Let me know if you have any questions.
