Condition: This one has been used and has quite a few of the typical blemishes for a train this old, such as; paint chips, scratches dents or small bends, paint loss, and paint fading. Now I did thoroughly test this one though and it runs great and the e-unit works flawlessly! Also, this did not have bulbs in it so I replaced them with brand new replacement bulbs and the lighting now works great! Now, one thing to not though is that this train is oily (like all over the train) so even though I bought this from an individual that had this on display in his climate controlled house (he said he had it for over 60 years) I think he may have rubbed a bit of oil on the train to keep it from rusting / corroding (like people do with guns it seems). The reason I think this is because there were a few other trains I bought from the same individual that he told be he rubbed oil on them to protect them for long term display.

But overall it appears to be in fairly decent shape for how old this one is, however please use the pictures as they are a part of the description and that way you can make your own judgment.
