LIONEL Prewar 153 engine Vintage/Antique restored tested, runs forward & reverse

Trying to finish up my last few old prewar engines that I still have laying around before I give it up. Then have some in my private collection. If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-10+ hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now.

Plus I usually put Fifty to one Hundred dollars in refurbished or new parts. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly.

Even the new parts do not fit and have to be modified. It is a very sharp Black 153 Lionel restored. The 153 has a manual switch so it can run both forward and reverse. The lever shown in one picture front of engine switches it from one direction. Then pull out for other direction. I had clean all the brass, Great wheels, serviced and rewired, Cleaned manual switch, new lights. Black frame repainted I put a coat of clear on to protect the decals. Runs great in both directions.
