Lionel/MTH Tinplate Traditions #9 #424 #425 #426 #427 Stephen Girard. This #9 and #424-427 cars began their life before we owned them. They lived their life in a display case, unprotected from the sun.

This is the cause of the glaring issue, the paint fading. Someone skilled could repair these without much effort, although the problem is present nonetheless. The #9 also has an issue to note. The previous owner removed the sound board (supposedly it went bad) and rewired the unit to move forward only. The cab shell is also missing it's mounting screws to the frame so it needs to be handled with care when picking up.

These were operational as of last Christmas, including the interior lighting of the cars. I have plenty of others, so don't hesitate to ask for them. All of the boxes are included as well, though they are a little beat up (I have pictures of these too).
