Lionel 8E Electric Boxcab Loco Olive Standard Gauge X3037

11 enameled metal boxcab electric loco, made about 1930 is olive with mostly brass trim. It has new wheels, some rewiring, new light castings and is missing the latch from 1 coupler, otherwise looks original/complete. Original finish is very clean, has some wear on roof ribs near pantograph, otherwise just very light edge and detail wear. Trim is mostly bright with a few tarnish spots. It ran and auto-reversed a bit erratic, but got better with use, when bench tested, lights worked.

A very nice looking example. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
