Lionel 318 Vintage Standard Gauge 0-4-0 Powered Electric Locomotive

This is a Lionel 318 0-4-0 Powered Electric Locomotive (Type I) from 1924-32. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good. Item displays heavy paint loss and surface rust. A few of the brass trim parts are bent.

The paint has a weird texture but doesnt appear to be repainted. This locomotive is not functional.

This item has some dirt and dust spotting. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. Please see my pictures for additional features. This locomotive variation is the earliest and was painted a dark gray with red pilots. Features include tinplate construction, a motor, a reverse unit, operating lights, latch couplers and metal wheels. This is the Type I version that is painted a dark gray with brass and nickel trim and has a large gear super motor. The paint has a weird texture but doesn't appear to be repainted. Signs of play wear, scratches, minor paint loss.
