Lionel 154 Electric Loco NYC Lined Dk Green Original Prewar O Gauge X4502

Here is a nice, all-original NYC Lines electric loco, early 1920s variation, dark green with red window trim and gold stamped lettering. It has a 6 enameled metal cab on 8-1/2 frame, original wire-type handrails, couplers, even has original wiring. The 154 is the 2nd largest electric loco of the era, has hand-reverse motor. Wheels roll in-hand, but motor is not running. I did not dis-assemble to inspect, because of originality of this unit.

Thick paint finish shows some age, light wear for its age, light dirt, lettering is tarnished but all very good. The 154 was only made 1917 to 1923, hard to find one nicer, near 100 years old. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
