Loco is a 4-4-4, glossy black variation, has factory plain window frames, not trimmed in maroon. It has yellow rubber stamped lettering, complete diecast top trim. Loco is one of the earliest, made early to mid 1920's, has earliest hairpin type couplers (this coupler type is not even shown in Greenberg). This is a well-cared for loco, very clean, light wear to lettering, only light wear on pilots and trucks, otherwise a few edge nicks.
It has track-activated reverse, however not able to test as wheels do not roll. Wheels have fatigue-swelling/cracks, 1 wheel is a replacement. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles.
Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. We do not guarantee coupler operation. We try to note any obvious missing parts, defects or restorations in the description. Results are from simple bench-testing to help determine if mechanism is intact. Digital photography may distort image. The item is straight unless noted otherwise in the listing. WHEN PURCHASING MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE PLACE ALL ITEMS IN SHOPPING CART.
