248 LOCOMOTIVE ENGINE W/ BOX, ORANGE, 027 SCALE O GAUGE. Here is a beautiful electric 027 scale O gauge Lionel 1920s vintage number 248 locomotive engine with its original but tattered box, all original, origin color, with interesting couplers. The beautiful Orange Lionel locomotive engine has lots of appointments including gold tone doors and vents, silver ornamentation around the sides of the base, Electric wire hook up on the top, electric light, and exhaust stack on the top. The engine is untested, the light bulb is not there for the light, but the toy is in nice original condition.

Please note that the box is pretty beat with end flaps and even a section of the end on one side missing. It does have great detail around promoting Lionel multi-volt transformers, and his images of great detail including a child playing with a Lionel train on the back.
